I am a musician, composer and teacher of improvisation in Barcelona. I play the nylon-string guitar and my style is a mix of jazz with influences from classical music and free improvisation.
I have played and studied in New York, Los Angeles, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Senegal and Guinea Bissau. These experiences have greatly influenced my way of playing and teaching music.
Some notable concerts I have given include performances for the United Nations (Guinea Bissau, 2006), the Council of Europe (Andorra, 2007), the International Youth Jazz Festival (Italy, 2006) and the festival jazz.cat (Barcelona, 2008).
I currently perform as a soloist and I also play with two groups: Pangaea and Jazz Cálido. You can check out these projects on my music page.
I also teach improvisation for all instruments. I believe strongly in playing by ear and using theory only to aid in this process. You can learn more about my teaching method on my classes page.
